This truck needed to be lifted in the front as well as the spring hangers had to be outboarded for the new axle.

Nice thread. I am currently doing the same thing to a 67 F100 with a shortbox. Some final pictures of your steering would be appreciated. Wanna make me some of those nice hangers for the back of the leaf springs? ;)

The shackles? Or the spring hangers we used?

I will have more pics in the morning on this.

Sorry about that, I meant the shackles. Hopefully I don't have to get that fancy with mine and will just be able to use some flat metal to make them. But yours are killer!

Nice work on the shackles! Beefy...

I'm wondering about steering too. Is this truck going to use TREs or heims? If TREs, you going to use Chevy stuff on top of the arms? Just wondering, I'm still trying to decide what to do with my freshly swapped 60.

The brackets and welds look good....but there's one problem in these pictures: Your springs are backwards. I hope I'm not the only one who noticed this. The snail wrap (or military wrap) part of the spring is supposed to go opposite the shackle end.

Otherwise it looks awesome.

These are the springs off of a 94 ford F350.....That is the way they came off of the truck :D

I got the same TRE on my EB, 99% positive I wont have problems with the steering set up.
