all the way from israel with 92 vitara, and a big question.
I would like to replace the original front bumper, here in israel everything costs a lot of money so i would like to do it by myself.
I am thinking of double tube one on top of the other with curves at the ends.

if anyone has such a thing i would like to get pictures and where in the body did you conect it to.

I'm working on a front bumber for my '89 Sidekick. I'm making mine out of 2x4x1/8 square tubing. from what I've seen the front frame is basically the same as your Vitara which has a large flat front surface area so it should be easy to make brackets for. I'll try to get some pics this weekend.

i want to conect the bumper not directly to the frame. but to make some O shape flange so that evey hit i will get the flange will twist and not the frame.
why arent you using a round tube ?
i saw somthing similar at calmini, but without the upper addition.
