Hi there, im tossing up between a toyota pickup front or a FJ80 front diff 2 go under a sami.

only thing stopping me from going the FJ80 is the steering, is there many guys out there runnin this axle under a sami and wot did u do 4 steering arms ???

Aren't FJ-80 tubes rectangular? May be a problem? There also a large difference in width fron a mini front and an FJ-80.

the only thing thats bigger in a fj80 front is the cv's, the R&P r the same so wen i shave it i will still have the same clearance, also i plan on running the IFS front hubs and 1.5" wheel spacers 2 get me 6" on std lux width, which will stuff my steerin lock, so if i go a wider diff i wont b much wider than i was plannin on and ill have better steering, stronger cv's.

you should give gonads a call hes doing 80s hi steer (m&m custom engineering)
hes running an 80s front diff in hes zook buggy

other thing i been thinkin about is that the FJ80 brakes r bigger....

will i need 2 change the master cyl or the booster ???
