I recently picked up a CHEAP 1974 F250 4x4... specs are low pinion D44 front, D60 rear, 390/4spd/divorced 205. I have less than 500 bucks in this peach of a tow rig, but she doesn't have power steering and it is a bitch to turn the 33's w/o it  .... well, not that hard  but PS would be cool.
Has anyone added PS to their older F250, and what parts did you use? Can I just pull the stuff off of a 78/79 w/ PS? Is it a bolt on app or do I need ot change stuff (are the frames the same...)?

Thanks for any info!

while not the cheapest option, what about aftermarket hydraulic ram assist?

I would have to get a PS box on it first to drill and tap to get the pressure for the ram. I just put the Rocklogic hydro kit on my K5 and it is simple to do... but the F250 just doesn't have the right equipment yet...!
