Anyone know how much is actually involved in doing the swap. I have a 94 S-10 truck, not zr2....How well does it work with the 231? would I have to swap it out to? Or can you direct me to a website that could give me some info...Thanks.
Andrew

I di mine on a 95 s-10 and it worked out great. I got both my axles out of a jeep grand wagoneer fo 1000.00 and the pumpkin is on the drivers side it will work just fine. you can also get the 231j short shaft kit that will fit in the231c. You will have to drill a 1 1/2 hole on the top of the case for the reluctor ring. Then cut a 2"x3" plate and drill and tap a 3/4 x16 hole for the mag pick up. Scrwe it to the case and seal it.Use a 1/8 washer ot get the right heigt out of it the pick up should be with in 1/8 inch of the reluctor ring. It workes, I am talking to Advance Adaptors on making thekit fit the 231c.:smokin:
