Any of you Jeep guys running a Klune 4:1 box?

Really just fishing for overal opinions on it now that you're the proud owner.

I am specifically interested in how noisy the 4:1 is in Low range. I have heard the 2.72's are pretty quiet.

A little bit of gear whine, not bad at all. Plus you won't be using it all of the time, only wheeling.

How long is the klune? I heard 6 inches. so to get one I have to get a dana 300 and save 4.5 inches in rear shaft length.

This is my goal to have a Klune and a dana 300 with a disc brake.

Still trying to figure this all out. Before I start spending money.

I think it's a little longer than 6 inches. I'll measure it tonight and get some pictures.

Cool thanks. I have to plan for a short rear driveshaft. and It's already short.
