ive got the 302 sittin in the truck, mounts and everything made. motor is sitting dead in the center of the framerails. i went to put on oil relocation adapter, and found that the fittings that screw into it wont fit because of the steering box. ive never heard of anyone having this problem, but i cant think of how to correct it short of shifting the entire motor to the passenger side, and that would probably cram that exhaust manifold into the frame rail. any suggestions?
thanks

EAZY fix...
rotate it tighter till the open ports for the hoses are pointing straight up...it clears..
ok..anything challenging??
i dont think so. i tried it around its full range of motion, didn't matter what location the ports were in, they still aren't gonna clear.

Are you using a 90* adapter? There should be plenty of room.

you have the wrong adapter..
I made that mistake too, it fit find untill I really romped on it once, and they hit the steering box and broke.
You need the adpater where the hoses thread into the side of it, not the one that has 90* fittings that go into the face of it.
