My fullsize 88 with rear ABS started acting funny a few days ago. When I'm driving the front driver side wheel makes a swishing sound, like maybe the caliper is partially applied. When I step on the brakes it makes the swishing sound even louder, and is constant with the wheel turn.
Now the brakes have a ton of pressure, the pedal is extremely hard to push down. When I barely put my foot on the petal the bronco slows down, but seems to "catch" when im nearly stopped, the front driver side of the bronco sucks down because the caliper catches so hard. When I put the bronco in reverse the pedal sometimes goes the floor, no pressure.
Just as I was pulling in the driveway I got tired of it getting stiffer as I hit the brakes, it was like the harder I pushed the harder it pushed back. I stomped the brakes and it made a *CLUNK* noise, the pedal went to the floor. I pumped it once or twice and had brakes again, but something aint right.
Any ideas?
