This is an older how kit. It is a TBI kit on a 242 in a CJ.I have fuel pressure but I am not getting fuel in the throttle body.
I have voltage at the injecters (pink wires) but no fuel.
It will start if I add fuel in the throttle body.
This is a project that a friend of mine took on and it was a bird nest.
What tells the injecters to let fuel pass?
I know this may be a crap shoot but what better place to ask than pirate :D

Thanks in advance.

You have voltage but do you "pulse?"

Do you have a noid light or are you using a test light?

I have a similar set up on the cheap jeep here, I can check your system against mine if you want.

single or dual injectors? your ECM could be fubared, also if you have voltage across the terminals then it should be spraying fuel at 100% duty cycle. BTW wrong forum

Is the same computer controlling the spark and injection? If so, it or the injector is bad. If not, it isn't getting the crank signal or something is broken.

Check to see if the return line and main line are not backwards.

First get a wiring diagram.

Second tell us more about the system. Is it a Howell conversion, Holley, home grown??? What is it?

Generally, if you have fuel pressure while cranking, but no fuel spraying from the injectors, you need to check the 12v source to the computer while cranking. You also need to check the ignition trigger wire that tells the computer when to fire the injectors.

Projection (from memory, projection experts please correct me if I am wrong):

Pink wire- 12v volt source hot while cranking
White wire- negative side of coil
Red wire- keyed 12 volt source hot while cranking and run position
Black- good solid ground

Theres a few other wires, but these are the key ones. If any of these are defective- then it is not going to start or run.
