I have a 99DII and in a month or so i am going to put some rover tym 3" springs on it. I want to use some Fox shox but not too sure what valving would be best, or what length would fit. I dont have the springs yet so i cant measure but i was thinking either 10" or 11". I was also looking at the short body bilstiens but like the Fox better. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions. I tried a search but didnt really find anything but if anyone knows a good thread that would be great too. Thanks,
Nick

10" Bilsteins will max out the front ACE hydraulic even with a 6mm spacer on the down link bolt. It'll also max out the rear watts linkage short of modifying it. 10" shocks will also mean the front Xmember needs moving or replacing and the ABS/Brake lines extending. From what I understand the RTE 3" springs are pretty good, though we dont get them in Aus.

Talk to Steve over at Rovertym. He has the 3" kit down to a science, and the remote res bilsteins are custom valved for him by Bilstein for the Rover.
Ya can't go wrong.
