I ended up with some 4.56 gears for a D35 so I'm selling them on ebay. A bidder wants to know if they'll fit the front diff of a 2000 Dakota, IFS, 27 spline, 10 bolt cover pattern, also listed as a D35. Initial googling says no, but you guys are the real experts, not me. Any chance?

Ford uses the I beam D35 which is high pinion so they definately won't work on a Ford. There is another IFS D35 that is CV style and it is low pinion. I don't know if the Dodge is this style or not. The pinion is probably different. Other than that, I don't know if they'll swap. Call one of the drivetrain/gear places.
