I am looking for your input on which is the best 4 inch leaf springs for a '72 fj40. I have recently read some post here complaining of the classic cruiser sag. I am just looking for your two cents as to what is the best spring to go to. Also do you all reccomend a shackel reversal. As usual your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kelly.

I am running the Skyjacker 4" lift in my 72 and have had no problems. I have the shackle reversal so I used a 2 1/2" spring up front and the 4" spring in the rear. Make sure when ordering the parts to tell them what you are doing or you may get the wrong front shocks. (Too short) I have been running this setup for about 5 years and really like them. Although, I will end up doing a SOA next spring.......

Sixsranch, I will stay away from Downey, thanks. And McGyver, thanks for the suggestion on using the board. I am 2 months new here and am still figuring out various things computer wise, but I am learning. Besides, this is a good way to meet some of you all. Thanks, Kelly

If money is not a concern, imo national spring or alcan make a great custom set. I ran the nationals - spring under for 8 years. Incredible flex. Another option may be AOR in Colorado. They make then for Toy PUs, not sure about a LC. Good luck.
