: shackle flip ????

70 chevy p/u I am doing a reer shackle flip on what do i set the pinion angle at and how much lift does it give me?

Which kit you using? If you are talking about ORD it gives you 4 in. of lift.....:D

You shouldnt have to set the pinion angle at all. I have seen (and planned to do mine as well) using the front hanger off a doner truck moving it to the rear hanger. Digger did this and it came out great. The pinion looked good gave him about 4" of lift. He says the hanger from a 3/4 ton is a little taller than a 1/2 ton so it gives you a little more lift. Cheap and clean set up.

That's what I am going to do. I've got a set of front hangers sitting at my house.

so do I and I finally have a garage to do some work in. Maybee it will get done someday soon. I plan to flip the shackles and use 2" blocks to level out my 74, the 4" blocks and an add a leaf suck and sit way too low.
