CHeck this out! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1805500210&r=0&t=0
hope that works. If not go to ebay item # 1805500210

 I think the owner does a little more than hunt birds-- :smokin: --

Looks like something for border patrol. :trooper:

I'm sure ol' Billy Bob sits in front while cousin John John Jr. holds on to the shine  next to him. They probably keep the cousin/sister/wife in the area in the back while Pa and Grand Dad keep watch on top.

Yaaaahoooo!!!! God Bless the USA :p :usa:

WTF! You think they would have done that to a Heep. The person touts it up like he knows what LC quality is but damn, that's just wrong, almost as wrong as slammin it with some f-ed up spoke rims.

That is a VERY common modification in this part of the world. In fact, my Pig came from a South Texas deer ranch (thank God they didn't bird hunt)

I am wondering about this deisel engine though....

i have a friend of mine that just buit some late model suburbans with a full deck on the roof for a couple of deer hunters. but the cool part was here made them where you could drive from the upper deck. hell it looked like a off shore rig. but as nolen said it is quite common here in texas to see hunting rigs like that. many a portable deer stand/bird rig out there.

My question is..why would a "hunter" have a vehicle set up to drive around to shoot game. What kind of challenge is that. Might as well go into a field and shoot cows! :skull:

There is so much land to cover in South Texas when you Hunt that when you Deer hunt, you literally drive these vehicles with hunters in the top rack until they see game.

As for the Quail hunters, you will take out 2 or 3 sets of dogs and the hunters will ride until the dogs point and then they will dismount and shoot.

Agree ot not, Texas is a different animal than any other place.

That'd be a kick ass ride for hot springs hunting in Nevada.

Wonder how the "little woman" would like the ladies compartment in back :) I'm sure she'd love to sit back there and pass up the beers to me and Bubba.

Tell you what, that rig would have come in *handy* in Venezuela, where hunting also covers a lot of ground, and where the ground is often inhabited by a variety of creatures hazardous to your health!

A friend of mine's brother used to hunt with a modified FJ70 that had a custom reinforced hood with two seats built into it. I *might* have a few pictures of it somewhere, I gotta check....

I hope thers's no ditches where they hunt with it, cause it's got a approach angle like a Porsche:D
