when i put my lift on i had to get a longer cable for the back left. i got one from napa for a yj that was plenty long and all the fittings were the same. took it wheelin acouple times and now when ever i pulled the ebrake and then let it go the damn thing stays locked. even with the drum completely taken apart it will stay tight. i know theres mad tension on the spring, but for some reason theres an extreme amount of friction in the line, to the point where you have to grab the damn thing with some visegrips and pull as hard as you can to make it reset. right now i've just taped the ebrake handle down so i won't pulled it and lock my back left. anyway its a 97 xj any help would rock.
