Flimmy, Your Runner will compete with my Jeep. Cause my jeep is only in the modified class. Badassjeepguy's jeep is in the
SUPER MOD class. :p :skull: :emb:

I should do good against you. If history is correct, you will break a front axle shaft quick. :D :D

launch_it use that $$$ from the red truck and lets get workin on the xtra cab. I got some 33's for it now.:D

Flimmy, Dont worry even with 3 wheel drive I can beat your butt!

RAZZZZ RAZZZZZ RAZZZ

I do believe the class's should be exactly the same as what they used in CAL ROCK's event...

CalROCS
California Rock-crawling and Off-road Championship series presents:
THE BATTLE FOR CHIMNEY ROCK

Extreme rock-crawling action! 3 separate vehicle classifications:

Modified Stock
Pro-Modified
Open/unlimited

This was copied from Calrock's site.

Hey Guys, do me a favor...
Don't let Badassjeepguy break his toy just before Tellico.

I got plans for him....lol

Bert

Something I am wondering is my rear axle isn't same as factory.
does this kick me out of this class?

"Vehicle Requirements per Classification

Modified Stock

Axles
All Axles of a OEM design. No overall axle width, including tires and wheels may exceed 80"(outside of tire to outside of tire). Wheel base of the vehicle must be within 2.5" of OEM. (no gray area allowed)"

If it does, then I am in the Pro-Modified Classification and my tires can go all the way up to 40's

Because if I am in that class there is no way in hell I will win. Not even worth trying. Waste of time to go up against the real Pro mod vehicles, Just cause I had to have a RR cut due to height.

So my question is this... Does my RR rear end put me in the pro-mod class?

flimmy
02-17-2002, 02:18 PM
Reverse Cut, I'll let ya go on the axle. But if you go to the 37's like you want your goin up to Pro-Mod :flipoff2:

RAZZZZ RAZZZZZ RAZZZ :flipoff2:

Bert
02-17-2002, 02:21 PM
awww that's sooo nice of you.

cool, Now let me see what I am competeing against. You know what mine looks like. And the 37's are a no go...

I dont have the grand. :( oh well I just run 35's for a while.

flimmy
02-17-2002, 02:27 PM
I'll have my old 84 4runner with daul cases, welded rear, maybe a locked front by then ?, Hi-Steer, 35 " swampers, some ok flex, a big right foot, and alots of spair parts. So if I break who gives a sh_t. I'll just slap another one in or on.

i'm in! i just got my 84 on the road this december and i had to start working 6 ten hour days, so i havent had it out at a compettion or a big meet yet, just wheeling at a friends farm.
but anyway the overtime is done with and i will make it a point to be there!

brent

(P.s. thanks to launch_it for having the interior parts i needed:D )

do i have to have an emergency brake? not sure if i will get the cage i wanna build in by then either. got a crappy bolt in cage now.we needs the rules soon as time is limited as are funds. i dont think ya will ever see an e brake in my rig though. e brakes give me flashbacks of my drum brake days and my repeadedly forgetting to take them off and ripping the wheel cylinders through the backing plates.

No, cause I dont think anyof us have e brakes that work. EAST has mud remember.. and mud and e brakes dont mix.

Way to take some intiative Todd! Should be interesting, the rocks around here are slick compared to the rocks in other areas of the county (even compared to those out in Eastern PA).

Let us know if HRJA can help out in some fashion.

Make it in May, pleeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. I'd like to come check it out, but I'm busy and broke in April. It sucks being on the very lowest end of the super mod class, but that just makes me drive harder :rasta: More details please, can't use email for a while.
