From the grill, to the back of the cab, how long is it?
Just trying to get some measurements for something.
Thanks

Uh, you may want to specify at least what year make model vehicle this is.

Depends on the type of grill

dammit.
there can't be that big of a difference with the grill? How about both lengths then...

Don't dammit around here son... you need to specify 1st or 2nd gen, then maybe the nice gentlemen will help you. 84-88 and 89-95 Xcabs are doubtless going to be different lengths.

sorry, I've only seen a 1st gen so I figured they couldn't be too different.
I'm talking about probably a 85...so 84-88 will do :flipoff2:

I have a 86 Xtra cab sitting on the floor of the shop, I will measure it for you on monday.

This 103.5" is from the back seam of the window to the front of the grill, you need to add ~0.75" from the window seam to back of cab so ~ 104" from center of grill to back of cab.

The cab has no glass and is sitting on the floor so it is easy to measure through it to get a reasonably accurate measurement.

Seeing as how 84-88 and 89-95 boxes will both bolt up on 84-88 frames with about the same gap between the cab and box I would have to say that an 89+ Xtra cab would have similar length.

Those are great. Thanks for the measurements.
