I did a search and could not find what I was looking for.

I have a 76 3/4 ton 8 lug dana 44 with the large hubs, are these hub strong??? I have never seen large hubs like these on chevys they look like they belong on a Fo-d,,,,

Any way is this 44 worth messing with??

I have that axle in my K5, I have blown out a joint but the hubs are still kickin.
The biggest problem with these is that the bolts back off and then the problems start.
I have warn premiums on mine and have locking tabs on the bolts.
Do you still have the Spicer hubs on it?
I personaly like the old external hubs, they are the old school look.

hubs strong? ......Uh YES! These are kick ass fronts......I got 1 I'm rebuilding for my 4 runner .....it even has the "flange" hubs that convert it to all wheel drive....:p Buy the warn hubs and get crawling......UNLESS you wanna sell it to me.....:D :beer:

Hey buddy - that 8 lug front 44 I was telling you about - it has flat top knuckles and external lockouts :D It's yours :D
