: lost my york pulley bolt, what is it?

it aint that big. 3/8 maybe less. can't say for sure. Kilby would know for sure.

man there aint no pnps on sonoma, not a single yard.
The bolt is a 5/16" fine thread (24 to be exact), not sure on the length. I'd guess an inch or so. Torque to 25 - 30 ft lbs

If you are talking about removing the clutch and pulley on a York compressor, it is 5/8 coarse thread. It is a big mutha.

hhmmmm I already pulled the clutch and pulley thats how I lost the bolt lol and it was not 5/8

Guess I can go out to. open my hood and take out that bolt and messure it. Fawk that is alot of work.

Have you been to pull and save in Windsor? They are cheap and pretty good. actuially 3 junkyards next to each other there. Also Creams, by the Santa Rosa airport

this would be easier if my threads werent buggered but as it is I'm not sure waht to jam in there.

how about using a dippstick. messure the depth of the threaded hole. a nail or something like that should give the length. So there you go...

its 5/16 24, armed w/ that I was able to find the original bolt w/ mangled threads and run a #5 nut on it to get the threads cleaned up. and I tapped the york to get those threads back. I dont know what happened but hey it's all back together now.
