Is the stub shaft from the passenger side on a EB the same length as the one from a 78? dana 44 of course. Its obvious the axle is a different length.

Thanks

Ford 44 (solid) stub shafts are the same length. Not sure about the 44 ttb. I've also used stub shafts from Dodge and Chevrolet 44's. The splines and u-joints are the same. They differ in how far through the hub they stick. You might not be able to use the snap ring on the end. It,s never seemed to matter. You can also use the short side inner of a Chev or Ford 44 on the drivers inner of a Ford 44. Side by side with an EB short side they look a tiny bit different but again, i've run them and it never seemed to matter.

FearMe, correct me if im wrong but isnt the ujoint on the EB different than the 78,79 bronco. Thats why some people use those axles is to upsize ujoints
