this is my front 44...moved the perches in 2" on each side...also added 6* caster...

Looks good. Nice work. Did you do all the work yourself? What was the axle originally out of?

Ya thanks my friend and I do all our own work...The axle is a SII front...I moved the perches in so I could turn my 38.1450's lock to lock...This is a pic of my scout after I put 49" waggy rears in the front and 56"s in the rear. Also just finished the front bumper but still have the rock sliders to do...

What rod did you use to weld that Perch to the cast center section?

Well the center section is cast steel so I did'nt use anything fancy but if you were they make Wonder Rod for welding dissimilar metals...

Well the center section is cast steel so I did'nt use anything fancy but if you were they make Wonder Rod for welding dissimilar metals...
The center section is cast nodular (a.k.a. ductile) iron... not cast steel. It is easier to weld to than cast grey iron, but it is not cast steel.

I know... I know... The ARB inspired me to do all of that painting :shaking: wish now I had'nt......So I guess I'll have to go play in the mud for a while..

Thanks Rob and same to you!! I think the next one I do will be white....what can I say you inspired me!!!! When you get the IROC's on the trail you'll have to fill me in on how you like them....Thinking of slappin them on my buddys Zuke....36/13.5 of course :flipoff2:
