impact gun tech

still using a air tool kit I got from costco a few years ago. the impact gun keeps jamming on me. Pull the trigger, and just air shoots out. Bang it a few ties, or play with the forward revers switch, and it will start working. It seems to have lost some power too (not that it has that much torque anywyas)

Yes I oil it too, Usually put a drop in the air fitting before I hook it up to the line. Not enuf oil? POS gun? easily fixed?

They can get a little gummed up in side. Put some thin penetrating oil thru it till things free up. Then re oil w/ air tool oil.

Give it a good shot of Marvel air tool oil. You need to use more than a drop to keep it lubed and working ok.

Im also having trouble with my Impact gun except mine just doesnt hit like it used to. i got like 120 psi of pressure but it still doesnt hit, even after i break them with a rachet, it will still just barely be able to turn the nuts off (still faster then by hand but...). Im not sure the make seeing as how my dad snagged it up when he was a mech. in the AF. Its all Metal no tags nothin, got a round 5 speed control nob on the buttom. Any suggestion on problem(s)?
