just want feed back on how long it took and how much of a PIA it was. my sub has bad floor cancer, bad rockers and kick panels. some spots they don't make a replacement panel for. would it be just as much work to just make my own floor and rockrs?

I replaced patches in my floor. It would have been easier to do one entire floor replacement pre-made from an outside source than to make all the tiny patches that I did and then weld the in. Would have looked a lot better, too. :) It was a LARGE bitch. I imagine rocker pannels would be even worse. And this was all on a Jeep, which doesn't have nearly as many contours as a Burban does.

Depending on how bad the rot is, it's gonna take some time to do. There are a few companies that make the panels you need, Brothers, and Chevy Duty. There are some more but I can't remember the names. The panels they sell fix the most common areas that rust out. I have fix a couple of pans and rockers, if you have the right tools it goes much faster, plasma cutter, good mig, flanging tool. It took me a good weekend to fix the panels.
The late 60s thru 70s subs are notorious for the windsheild gasket leaking, wiping out the pillars, inner kick panels, floor, and rockers. Its a PITA to fix all that damage!!!!!:skull:
