Talked to Alcan Springs about 52" springs for my heep. :D
Specs are 52x2.5, pin in center of 7 leaf packs, spring rate based on weight of vehicle plus cargo. and designed for SOA.
185.00 ea. with bushings
Your input on Alcan Springs?
Need a lead on National Spring.
Anyone know if OME does custom applications?

If you can wait for a month, I will ask one guy I know back home. I recall that he gets custom springs for around $300-$400 for all 4.

I love my Alcan’s springs.. I want run anything else.. I have went through a few springs and the only ones that hold up are my Alcan's... If you can afford it get the orbit eye's.. I run 4'' spring over with 39.5..

My friend runs alcans on his landcruiser with a 4.3. Customer service has been great. Worked with him until he got the flex he wanted needed.
I say customer service is worth it.

Just a question, what makes the Alcan better than other custom spring mfr. (there is a guy here locally)

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe Alcan makes actual spring leaves (leafs).
most "custom" spring/suspension shops assemble spring packs for a particular laod rating and length from leaves made by one of a few big leaf manufacturers.

Yea, Alcan manufactures the leaves as well. Completely custom, from scratch. I was quoted 135 ea. for custom springs 2" for my CJ5 soa. 185 ea for the 2.5" springs. I've heard nothing but good things.
