To get to JV, head out to Victorville and take the 15 towards Vegas. Get off at the Lucerne Valley turnoff (Hwy 18 east.) Keep on driving until you come to the 247 split. Continue straight: That is 247. In about 25 minutes, you will come to beautiful Johnson Valley. Take the Means Dry Lake turnoff on the left. There will be a BLM sign marking the turnoff. Watch for it, because it's easy to miss.
