Anyone make a tube notcher at home? 200-400 is a little steep for me to pay.

You can find the harbor freight one on sale for like 30 bucks sometimes. get that one.
I have used it, and it works great, as long as you dont need too much of an angle on the cut.

HF drill press a couple of Import V-blocks and the appropriate size hole saw will do the job, just a little bit of a pain getting it together and dialed in, unless you're a machinist :D

I was thinking about doing that. take some v-blocks and bolt them to a simple vise and bolt the vise down to the table of the drill press.
