Obviously written by a car owner who doesn't like MPV's.

"This retro rock-climber — which debuted as a concept two years ago — will slot beneath Toyota's compact RAV4"
They expect the pricing to be in the high teens. I thought it would be H2 priced. Unless the high teens refers to the 2wd models. In any case, for less than $20k, I'd want one.:D

Too bad it will have IFS and a V-6. I would want a V-8 and a solid front axle. Then I would consider taking it offroad.

No shit huh!
I consider mine rather refined for a vehicle dating back to the late 50's.

The people who wrote that article obviously don't have a clue. How would Toyota build a vehicle based on the 4 Runner/Taco platform and price it under the RAV 4? If they could make them cheaper I'm sure they would because they could sell a ton more.
