Oregon WARNING! Nominee to OR St. Board of Forestry!

Governor Kulongoski has put forth former Congressman Les AuCoin as a potential nominee for the appointment to the Oregon State Board of Forestry. The Oregon Senate must confirm the nomination. The appointment of Les AuCoin will be detrimental as he openly supported measure 34. (The same mesure 34 that would have denied us use of our State forest if passed. As most know it was shot down by the entire State of Oregon!) Please do NOT support the appointment of AuCoin to the board.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?!

Easy and in 5 min. No form letters or anything, just take a minute to send your State Senator an e-mail or call and ask him or her to NOT support the appointment of Les AuCoin as a potential nominee for the Oregon State Board of Forestry.

Senator Gary George,
Please do not support Governor Kulongoski nominee, Les AuCoin as a potential nominee for the appointment to the Oregon State Board of Forestry. Mr. AuCoin was vocal in his support of the recently defeated attempt to bypass the planning structure of the Tillamook State Forest with measure 34. I firmly believe measure 34 would have greatly crippled Oregon's economy and would have yielded terrible results to the environment.
Thank you for NOT supporting Les AuCoin as a nominee for an appointment to the Oregon State Board of Forestry.

Thanks for getting the words out guys. This is another one being pushed by our old friends of the “Tillamook Rainforest Collation”, the same crew that put measure 34 on the ballet last year. (If you did not already guess!) Les AuCoin is not one we want on sitting on the State Board of Forestry!
