Im just kinda wondering this is certainly the cheapest tool chest ive seen so far and the drawers roll better than the craftsman proffesional series tool boxes i plan on using it for autobody training at my local college and I would love a Matco toolbox like my brothers but they just cost too much. I was just wondering if any of you have had any experience with these how well they hold up and so on.

I have a lower unit. The draws slide easily and it does what it's supposed to do... Collect stickers. I would rather spend my money on a good tool than a bling tool box.

I have a Canadian Tire brand "Professional Series" tool box (Canadian Hardware store brand). I purshased it a few years back for the same reason...the price. It's pritty much the same quality/design as the Huskey ones (the Huskey one actually being a little more heavy duty, again I'm refering to the bigger of the Huskey Boxes). I would have actually bought the Huskey one but they didn't have it in my local Home Depot until 2 weeks after buying the one that I have. I found the same about the Craftsman boxes and wasn't too impressed with the drawers, My box and the Huskey box felt better (the drawers).

I have the one they call the 13 drawer workstation. It is no matco or snap-on box but for the price (was on sale for 400 when I got mine) it does the job. You have to give the drawers a good push to make them go in the last half inch so you can make sure they are latched to lock it. I agree with couchracing I would rather spend the extra money on tools or parts for my truck. I have had mine about 6 months or so.

i got the one that is like 1000 for the top and bottom, got a good deal from a client of mine. and it is great, except for the annoying part of having to really push the drwaer in the last bit. i am also probably going to put 4 swivel casters on instead of the two swivel and two fixed

I really truly think it would be a great box becuase once i get out of school i can always trade it off on a matco i think your all right about just buying the tools I have gotten most of my air tools given too me from coworkers i just buy rebuild kits for em and there good to go. How would you all compare craftsman wrenches to the higher end tool companys?

I like the Craftsman pro series. Reasonably priced and a lifetime warrenty. Plus, there are Sears stores everywhere around here. I'm at least a half an hour away from the closest Lowes or Home Depot. Can't see dropping the coin on the "major" brands only to have them depreciated when they give up. And FWIW, my first set of Craftsman tools have lasted longer than some of the the "major" brands.
