1994 fj80 with 90k, After getting a check engine light I pulled the code and get what I think is a "7"

long pause
...repeat

anyone have a code chart??

There is no code 7 or 17. There is a code 71, which refers to the EGR system. Check the EGR valve, EGR hose, gas temp sensor, VSV for EGR, and ECM.

Nolen, the '94 is pre-OBDII, so it's simply a matter of checking the code with check engine light flashes.
