Anyone know what fuel pressure you should have on a Marine 5.7 ltre throttle body. 1997 Mercruiser 5.7 in a rock buggy with Unimog 404 Axles.
It has a mechanical fuel pump that brings it from the tank and then an electrical fuel pump that bumps up the pressure. It is running too rich and I have changed virtually all sensors, plugs, wires, injectors, etc and it still is too fat.
It is running 45 PSI out of the electric fuel pump.

Any ideas??

Thanks

not sure with the marine motor, but normal tbi runs under 20. the mercruiser stuff might be different though

Thats why I am wondering if that is my problem. Although I can not find any way to adjust the pressure unless I add an external fuel pressure regulator. Apparently this system worked great before but since I have owned it, it has ran pretty bad.

Thanks
