no chevys with a 44 in front came with a limited slip in the front unless the owner put one in

I was told a rear d44 ls carrier will work so I was wondering what make and model had d44 in the rear with lmited slip and a gear ratio in the 3's Ithought maybe s10's or something

S10s didn't use dana 44s. Scouts and Wagoneers used dana 44s with an option of a track lock in the rear (limited slip). Just watch ebay. There are 44 parts on there all the time.

if u get really lucky, chevy did use the dana 44 rear in half ton stuff, back in the early 60s. but these rears are hard to find, and probabaly a different spline axle

Some F100s in the sixties used a 44 rear. These were equipped with 30 spline power locks.

Some wagoneers had a trac loc front and rear from the factory. (my 77 did but it had a borg warner fulltime unit and the low range kit too)
