im tryin to decide witch lift to go with. rite now the truck is a daily driver but not for long. if i choose the 6 inch what extra parts do i need other than the lift. im pretty sure im pickin up a set of stainless extended brake lines for the front and back if needed but i hear people talking about a trans drop bracket is that needed ? im tryn to keep it reliable to, any suggestions?

I run 38.5 on a 6inch and love it. I trimmed the fenders a little but only because when I really flexed it out the tires were catching. I'd go with the 6in, that way if you wanna go bigger in the future, you can.

Remember you still have that 1/2 ton crap underneath your rig, so don't go too big or :nuke:

make sure your kit comes with a steering arm as well. and if you go 6" you'll have to extend the front driveline. I'm running a 6" lift with 39.5's with some front trimming but none in the rear<----i have a flatbed :D

I have a set of 3/4 ton running gear with 3.73 gears f/r that I need to get rid of if you are interested in going a little stronger...I have a set of 8 lug wheels to go with them.

email me if interested...

I put that 1" square in between the trans mount and the frame and also put blocks to lower the draglink up in front
