me and my friend were just drivin around when my tranny felt like it got stuck in second and wouldnt go back down to first. i have a 93 s10 blazer with the auto 700r4

how many miles on tranny? id say just replace it with a rebulit one my 700 r4 finally blew its load got a good rebulit one works great now

its 130000 and this problem happened before, luckily all i had to do was shut it off and let it sit for a while and for some reason it was fine after that and that was around 116000 miles

That sucks man. It must be national tranny blow up day. I just started my truck a few minutes ago and tranny fluid started pouring out the dip stick tube. Not trying to steal your thread just thought it was funny.

yea i know, i think im just going to try and clean out the tranny and swap in some new fluid and go from there

if the trannys original it should have a 4l60e in it, the electronic version of the 700r4. this being the case, the problem is probabaly a bad selinoid in the tranny. check if theres a square 4 wire plug going into the drivers side of the tranny, or if theres a bigger circular plug going into it, the bigger plug is the 4l60e
