I have a Miller 130 mig and want to do some frame work on my EB. Stuff like suspension mounts, shackles, radius arm mounts, c wedges on the axle, etc. Will the 130 be enough or do I have to go bigger? Any Miller 130 owners out there?

I have a miller 135, basicly the same thing. Rated up to 3/16" single pass with a fairly good duty cycle for the hobbiest. If you need to weld more then 3/16 just bevel the joint well and lay a couple hot passes.

If you have to ask maybe you should have someone else weld it? Just because you have a welder does not mean you should weld.

Here is pictures of two friends Jeeps. They were both built from scratch with a Miller 130 using Flux Core...

It's a great welder. I've put over 20 10# rolls of flux core through mine and it's worked great. Only tripped a breaker once. It has one hell of a duty cycle. I do 3/8" in two passes easily. Make sure you're on a 20 amp breaker circuit, it makes all the difference in the world. I'm building my 20' car hauler with mine right now, no problems. I've burned a 10# spool alone so far on it.
If you have concerns about getting good penetration, just set the heat on 4 and adjust the wire speed up or down. It'll burn through almost anything on 4. The 135 is the new 130 XP basicly.
