I have a 89 chevy reg cab long box with a 3" in Body lift and 285/75R16. i was wondering if i were to put a 6" suspension lift would Nitto Mud Grappler Extreme Terrain LT38x15.50 R20 125Q fit without fender trimming. it is more of a show truck so it wont be hittin the trails to hard (haha) so it wont be to important if they rub a little. or what size should i go for? thanx

If you dont hit the trails you should be alright.

pussy. cut the fenders. it would be really embarrassing to tip over on the way to the grocery store. keep it low.

heres what 2" lift and 38.5s looks like.

Dood, take the 10 inch wide wheels that you most likely have on the 89 and trade them for some nice stock backspaced 8 inchers, slap on some 315/75s and call the mallcrawler good to go! no cuttin, no worries, and you wont bomb your stock stuff in the parking lot!

thats what 2wd trucks and cars are for. They dont need 38"s to drive around on the road.

if you want some style. build your self a hotrod, muscle car vintage, nothing new.. That is the only way to redeem yourself after making this thread. :flipoff2:

Anybody ever stop and consider that every other fawkin trailer grown redneck out there has a "showtruck" so in a town where there are 5000 of these fuktards how come only about 20 pickups show up at the local hometown autoshow?????

Come on cegusman, a 3' body lift, that is rediculous. That means I have to purchase 10 Performance Accessory kits and then find a bolt long enough to go through them. I got the answer, I will slide rebar pipe through them and weld them in place. Having a 52" tire means you have to remove the front driveshaft and run the truck in low range for street use.
