I finally got my stainless top for my krl1024 box today. I can put the hutch and door on. Anyone done this? Got to be a fucking rocket scientist to put the door on. Took me 2 hours, had it off the box twice and still had to pick one side up to get under it to screw the door on. I like their shit but fuck their instructions. might as well been in braile!

I wish I could have a hutch let alone a nice 1024, but alas I do not have enough room for one in my garage. Do make sure you bolt the stainless top down, or it might warp, even with the hutch on it.

yah it is. I think I like this combo now. I had a 1004, traded it and one top chest for the 1024 with stainless top and hutch/door. got the chest on the left side and the hutch top on the other.
its all bolted together.

I have a Krl1003, with a stainless top, Hutch with door, and a full locker on the right side all under a cover. Looking to eather put a docker locker or somthind else like a half locker with a top chest on it, then mabey a set of overhead cabnets. Hay it is only money right?  :D

What's the differences between the KRL and KRA series boxes? I ended up with a KRA4107B, because he had it already, and it was fawking cheap. He made me a helluva deal on it. Already starting to look at new boxes and wondering what the differences are.

the KRA series is a lower-priced line that doesn't have all of the features that the KRL line has - including depth of the drawers - thickness of steel - specialty reinforcing ribs for the larger size - trim level - number of spot welds - better or more casters, etc.

They are both great boxes - and the KRA line stacks up against anyone's box and it is a great box for the general mechanic while the KRL is the bling box with all the frills and more storage capacity for those master mechanics with a huge tool inventory.

There are hutches and side cabinets for both series along with matching top boxes, stainless or wood tops, etc.
