How much tubing did you use?

Hi,

Building my first cage.. getting ready to order tubing and wondering if my calculations are about average, in other words how much should I order, ballpark? :flipoff2:

How much tubing did you use in your cage? Picture?

this is probably in the wrong forum, but the ones that we've built have about 100-150 ft. Short wheel base on the lower end long wheel base on the upper end. If it's your first cage though make sure to get extra because you'll screw up somewhere and need more.

Around 100', I personaly used around 65'-70' but that was on a Toyota. I just layed out my plan in chalk on the garage floor & ordered the ammount of 1.5-.125 plus about 10 ft extra & ended up using about half 5'.
(no pick of this project) :(
I think I got the Ideas I used form "bending101" on the home page, worth checking out. Good-luck. :smokin:

What are your plans? the amount depends on how serious you are going to get about caging your rig...
