Some of us are heading down to have some fun at the Salton Sea, anyone going?

No playing for me. We are doing a cleanup down by Bartlett Lake. In an odd twist of fate there is an article in today's paper (http://www.arizonarepublic.com/arizona/articles/0218trash18.html) that talks about the area and all the dumping of trash that has been going on. I can't believe people are this stupid. Taking your stuff to the dump doesn't cost much and is free once a month depending on where you live. I just love how the article makes it seem like the OHV users are the ones responsible in the first sentence. Yeah, like I am going to drag my old mattress out with me when I go four wheeling :rolleyes: Hey FK, take some pictures of the area, I always wondered what that place looked like.

Good for you and your crew AZ. We've had a couple of areas shut down in BC because of people dumping garbage and punks ditching stolen cars, trucks and... It's ironic though that one of the areas they are threatening to close is the one we, fourwheelers, did the clean up for. We removed a ton of garbage, a couple of cars, a microwave, a washer and the list keeps going. There were no hikers, mountainbikers...etc anywhere to be found on the clean up day.
Sorry to ramble on I'm just happy to see more people taking care of the things we all know and love.

I'd like to go, only prob is I'm on crutches. My friends would rather go out drinkin than fix their shit. If you don't mind FK, could I hook up with your group? I shouldn't need too much help, my Zuk is all locked up and geared down. I'll bring some chiks too! You don't go to sleep at like 7 at night when you're camping do ya? Maybe we could get the girls liquered up and all! :beer: :beer:
