ok
i did this today on the street doing normal driving
i have a 2.5L with stock gears and a light foot.
Any ideas what would cause this? Looks like the ujoint went right through the yoke. The ujoint is still in tact and everything.
Any comments?
This is probably less than 8 months old!
Thanks

Kind of a grainy pic, but it looks like a lack of lube.

no way! the more angle the more it works! I would say once a week on a daily driver. sounds like a lot I know . but look at the result of ever 4 months. that is only a lack of grease problem! large all wheel drive tractors that have cv drive lines grease the joints TWICE DAILY

Just got off the phone with Troy @ Tom Wood's place and they think it was u joint failure and they are taking care of it.
Great Service and Reply!
