I've got a '95 Dodge 2wd ctd auto tranny truck with 158k and a Dana 70 with 4.10 gears. I'd like to trade for a complete D70/80 with 3.55's in GOOD shape, preferably from the same era CTD, that I can just swap into my truck and go. Gotta lower the cruise RPM's and get the CTD back into it's powerband.

Got a D70 SRW out of a '92 CTD with 3.54 gears in SoCal. Not sure of the compatability between years as there was a redesign in 94. :confused:

I think I'd like to hold out for a 70 from the second gen trucks just to be sure there wouldn't be any compatibility issues. Unless somone can chime in with any differences.

I have a D70 with 3.54 out of a Mid 80's Ford F350. Has SRW on it. Is there a way to tell if it is DRW. Just checking. I could use the 4.10 if you would consider trading just the gears and carrier.
