I have this one here and am pretty pleased with it:
TP Tools 960 (http://www.tptools.com/product.asp?base%5Fno=960&str%5Fbase%5Fno=960%2DFLX%2DDELUXE%2C731%2DTL%2C78 0%2DTL%2C951%2C952%2C960%2C960%2DLD%2C960%2DSE%2C9 66%2C970%2C976%2C&header%5Ftitle=Abrasive+Blasting+Cabinets%2DLight+ Commercial%2FHome+Abrasive+Blasting+Cabinets&page%5Fname=prod%5Flist%5Fdisplay%2Easp&search%5Ftype=L2%7E54&size1=&size2=&gender=&ShowImages=yes&sq=0&cont=1&intPgNo=1&mscssid=JBGA44D081U99JNWW7VTA1SGWRTJ27C2)
They have a similar one on sale here:
TP Tools 960-FLX (http://www.tptools.com/product.asp?base%5Fno=960%2DFLX%2DDELUXE&str%5Fbase%5Fno=960%2DFLX%2DDELUXE%2C731%2DTL%2C78 0%2DTL%2C951%2C952%2C960%2C960%2DLD%2C960%2DSE%2C9 66%2C970%2C976%2C&header%5Ftitle=Abrasive+Blasting+Cabinets%2DLight+ Commercial%2FHome+Abrasive+Blasting+Cabinets&page%5Fname=prod%5Flist%5Fdisplay%2Easp&search%5Ftype=L2%7E54&size1=&size2=&gender=&ShowImages=yes&sq=0&cont=1&intPgNo=1&mscssid=JBGA44D081U99JNWW7VTA1SGWRTJ27C2)
They have larger ones as well. All depends on what you want to put into it, how much room you have in your shop, and how much you have to spend on it! :D

yea, that's a little out of my budget ;)
Looking for something I can store and then pull out and put on the bench top to clean up small parts occasionally. I don't do production and I have a sandblaster outside for big stuff. I'll admit it would be nice to fit some small wheels in there (I got a vdub bug) but don't see doing too much else bigger.
Anyone have anything they like??

I got one from Eastwood about 12 years ago. I welded up a stand for it with wheels...

TP Tools also has some workbench sized cabinets as well as all the supplies to make your own. Should be able to get to them from the 960 cabinet links above.

like most tools/equipment i'd get something 50% bigger than what you need cause as soon as you have it you'll use it and find its to small

Just build one. Make the whole thing colapse so that you can store it away. I built one a while back for a friend and it folded flat into a 5 inch space. Then it can be built big enough to hold a big wheel. You can add a light and whatever else you want and I think the whole thing cost me like $60 to build.

I've got the big HF one. I would not buy another HF cabinet, ever. The lighting sucked, the gun clogged continuously (and eventually died), and the pickup sucked. I spent alot of time screwing around with it.

I'd say that you need a light of some sort. Between dust and all, pretty hard to see in a cabinet without one.

brandon, the over stock sand blast cabinet works great... we have one at school and it is a fawkin dream man.... we just usually get quickrete sand and run it through a window screen to get the big stuff out.. works awesome... ill send some pics on your website of some stuff i blasted up and painted.......

very cool, it's funny. One person praises stuff and another rips it apart. I have yet to hear anything about the overstock one so this is promising. Shipping is cheap on it too :)
I might just buy it, I'd like to see the pics though :)

Yep, I have one like the overstock unit. Super cool for small stuff.
One thing it would be nice to have a COUPLE of them, so I didn't have to change out media. Typically using the smallest GLASS bead for majority of
the work (cleaning up aluminum casting, blasting carbon off valves, etc).
Still would like one with walnut shell (alternator/starter rebuild), another with glass (aluminum cleaning), third with sand (removing rusty from steel). :)
Tricks:
Smallest Glass Bead Possible if you have less than a 4hp air compressor.
Air dryer. (moisture will cuase the gun to clog).
Light Bulb inside cabinet. 90W flood gets hot, but helps keep media dry.
Vacuum cleaner with a good filter on it. Really need this outside the shop
to keep fine dust from collectings around it.
Been thinking of 4' pan/box brakes and sheers. Super cool to make one yourself with the TIP gun kit.

I got da compressor (two stage 5hp 80 gallon) to run it, just need it :)
All I have used with my freestanding blaster is sand from home depot. Clogs occasionally but I can't complain..

like i said just sift it through with some window screen.... if you look at the rims i posted up for sale on your website youll notice a chevy orange red valve cover....
the blaster roughed it up and cleaned it up pretty good... i noticed with sand it givees it a primered finished look..... with glass beads it makes it look polished or chromed out........ i blasted the valve cover and then i just shot a coat of chevy orange red paint on it..... didnt even have to primer it..... made it so clean and nice and rough for the paint to stick to....... ill take a picture tommorow at school when i finish blasting a tcase shifter cover.... youlll like it
