I looked at truck tool boxes to put in my Early Bronco today. The problem is that they're all WAY too wide. The one I looked at was 70" from end to end on top with 5" cutouts so the bottom was 60". I have about 36" between wheelwells to mount something. Anyone have a solution for this problem? What do you all use?

36" is in the range of a large actual tool box. Im talking about a tool tool box:D Get one with not many drawers maybe?
Either that or if you dont mind plastic, get one of those boxes from WalMart in the truck section, they are hard black plastic. That might be around the right size.

In my Cabella's catalog, and in my Craftsman catalog, they have tool boxes that go along side the bed, facing the tailgate with 3 or 5 drawers. They are a bit pricey, but they look like good sized for a tool box.

What are the prices on the Delta boxes? I had one custom made that is almost identical Its 48 wide, 18 tall and 20 deep. WORKS GREAT. I love it. seals awsome. Never had a drop of water get in it. Heck dust doesn't get in it. Mine has double latches instead of the single but the same twist style handles.
I ordered mine through a local trucking company. Company that made it is in Levern TN Think their name was Protec. To my door with freight was $240.
