ok...looking at getting a bender to build skids, bumpers, EXO's, etc....

Just looking to see if one is preferred over the other...they look about the same... The only thing that i see is different is that the Pro-tools bender can bend up to 240 degrees with the right die were the JD2 only bends to 180 degree....however the JD2 is a little cheaper...And i am not sure if i will ever really need to bend something 240 degrees....

if anyone is interested....

I am also open to other companies if anyone knows one i should consider??

I understand that hydraulics are nice....but i am a poor college student trying to get by. What if i convert the JD2 or Pro-tools benders so that it have a hydraulic assisst??? That would just about max out my funds...:(

Rocktoy, anything works but I was talking from experience I had a pro tools 105 w/ upgraded arms etc. they bend excellent but do take more time and space and usally are in the way being as they are bolted to the floor, when it was all said and done I sold the mech. 105 and bought a hydro pro shot it turned out being less than three hundred difference

Ercolina TB60, or a JD2 Mod3. Both work well...:)
