BTW...did a search and it no worky. I have located two donor trucks with (78 and a 79) on is an F250 and the other is either a 250-350. D44 HP front and 60 rear. I believe the WMS to WMS is approx. 65". Is there any thing in particular to look for in either of the axles when chosing? Did one or the other come with less splines or are ther inherant week spots in either. I read that if one of them is a F350 (havent seen this one yet) that the front may be a D60. It is a futuer mod to say the least. But at $175 a pair from the confirmed F250 and $250 for the unconfirmed (f250-350) i concider this a steal. If they sit for a year so be it. I know they have 4.10-11 gears. My goal is 37" tires and a stretched WB...Still doing home work. I dont mind upgrading shafts and such at this price so I can beef it up no problem...Which to buy though...Any sugestions? Thanks in advance.

The F250 will likely have a HP 44 front/60 rear, unless it was a Snow Fighter then it'll have a HP D60 front. Most F250's had 3.54 gears (depending on the engine).
