2001 TJ Heat Question, ? [Archive]

Test drove a 2001 TJ 4.0L, when returning I popped the hood the hood was unsually hot. Then when I grabbed the prop-rod it almost burnt my hand. The grill was raally hot, the whole frontal area was unusually warm. Is this a TJ thing, or a Jeep thing or is this a sign of something wrong.
