I have a 4" drop Skyjacker pitman arm on my 85 CJ-7 with power steering.. I need a pitman arm that is about 1" longer to tighten my turning radius.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

The F250 looks like the way to go if the Steering box splines are the same for the CJ, can anybody confirm this?

UPDATE:

I just found what I was looking for, A Jeep Waggoneer, J10, J20 or Fullsize Cherokee has the same spline design as the CJ pitman arm and is 1" longer. :D

I now have bumpstop to bumpstop turning ability !!!

Does the SJ pitman have any drop compared to the stock CJ arm?

Yes the stock SJ arm has a little drop not much. It also comes with the larger taper for the TR end.

The Ford drop arm and the Waggy drop arm are almost identical.

The skyjacker arm for my 350 is a good bit longer and drops more then the one for a CJ. However I think the splines are off by like 30 degrees. The splines or the same just the four large splines when I set the stock waggy on top of the ford one they were clocked diffrent.
