WELL I FINALLY GOT A CO2 SETUP........WITHOUT BRACKET,AND FILLED IT COST ME 97$$ OUT THE DOOR...IM STOKED....

NOW I NEED TO FIND A PLACE TO MOUNT IT....
I DONT WANT IT IN THE WAY OF CAMPING GEAR AND WANT IT TO BE ACCESSABLE.....I WAS THINKING IN BETWEEN THE FRONT SEATS WHERE A CENTER CONSOLE WOULD GO......

OR WHEN I GET ONE OF THESETOOL BOX (http://www.deltastorage.com/delta_underbed_steel.html)
MOUNT IT INSIDE SO I WONT HAVE TO WORRY TAKING IT OUT EVERY TIME I WHEEL..

ANY PICS WOULD BE COOL......

THNX

OH YEAH IF YOUR INTERESTED IN INFO ON A 97$$POWER TANK LET ME KNOW.......

LOSE THE CAPS:flipoff2: Your in cal. so maybe its illegal to have something under pressure inthe front? (your safe with it there, but a lot of transportation laws don't make sense) Old Guard has his mounted to a gas can mount from con-fer that bolts to the spare tire, he drilled some holes in it and fabed a simple hanger. I'll see him Tue. and click a few pics if you want.

I took 4 little U brackets and bolted them to the bedsides ... 2 at the top, 2 at the bottom. Then took a ratchet strap and crisscrossed it over the bottle with a final one between the 2 top brackets with the strap up around the neck of the bottle. Just ratchet the strap down and its a real tight setup for under $10. I put mine by the tailgate of the 4Runner with a 25' coiled hose it reaches all 4 tires with no problem.

I have mine mounted between the front seats...might be illegal but i didnt really have anyhwere else to put it....other than in the bed (didnt like that idea because my truck is a DD and i didnt want to have to take it in and out of the vehicle to keep it from getting stolen :( )

I also thought about putting it in the tool box....but thought that it would be more prone to damage there (even if it is mounted good, a spare part or tool coming loose and knocking the regulator off didnt sound apealing)

just my thoughts....

I went to a fire extinguisher supply house and bought an extinguisher bracket. Looks just like Powertanks bracket (cause it's the same damn thing :) ) for half the price.

I mounted mine on top of my wheel well in the back, rattles a little against the side wall but not to bad.

Remember..you need to have the tank upright (valve up) to use.

I did the exact same thing. Those brackets are easy to bolt to something on your rig and it allows the tank to be removed easily and it also holds it really well.
