Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out where the computer controller for the lockers in the FZJs is. I'm trying to get one from a boneyard but I have to tell them where to look, and being a 4runner guy, I have NO idea. Any help at all? Perhaps even a part number?

Passenger side kick panel - the ECU has 4WD controller printed on it ... should be easy to locate.

Yeah I know, but I want everything slick and as "stock" as can be. Anal? Yes.

I've seen a couple of writeups on making the relay, but I don't want some circuit board hanging around, or having to search for a box to put it in, etc.

Does this one ECU control both lockers? If so (and I should get flamed for this one) is the rear locker the same as a Tacoma rear locker or at least could a Tacoma locker be controlled by it? And finally the big bonus point question, does anyone have a wiring diagram of this thing? I'm going to have to figure out how I'm going to control it, and I don't think it is going to be with the little twist nob the FZJ has.

Don't have the wiring diagram for just the ECU ... but this (www.raventai.com/PDF/164FRONTREARDIFFERENTIALLOCK.pdf) is everything Toyota has to say about it in the 80 Series EWD.
