Decided it would be best to post this outside of Mike's thread.

I think some of you might know what (https://www.expeditionexchange.com/spacers/) I'm talking about.

Ya know I had never looked there (https://www.expeditionexchange.com/spacers/) before so I was kinda interested in what everyone was reffering to when they compared that RedRhino guy to HoHung in the one thread.
I was looking at some of the tech stuff. Anyone else every done this?
They recomend using a bottle jack to support a vehicle while making changes to the suspension.  :shaking:
I mean are we supposed to be taking this guy serious? Or is it another spoof site like NeverBeenOffRoad.org??

Don't worry, they suggest using a Hi Lift along w/ the bottle jack....

I think I'll stick to jack stands.

As long as they're Snap-On you'll be fine. Oh, and don't forget to put the lid on...it adds structural integrity.

It's US Gallon of course! And I fill them with water before putting the lid on. That way they slow the vehicles decent if (that's a big IF) they fail.

I have never heard of salami spacers. Wouldnt they start to smell really bad after awhile?

Oh, and be careful not to leave them "in the white", they will corrode faster than you can blink.

Have you ever noticed how all of their products are far superior to anything on the market? Of course, a superior product brings a superior price.

I find the salami cut spacers, in the white, to be the most elegant solution.

Just today I cut some new salami-cut spacers that I will be installing on my truck. Slade's agreed to post the pics of my fabrication efforts once he gets home.

Is how salami should be cut the tech?
Any pics?
You pay premium prices at EE because of thier great customer service. They will blow smoke up your ass for hours. This is what you pay for. Also they wheel and nobody else that sells stuff does. And nobody else talks to you. And don't look at thier web site unless you're going to buy from them because that's piracy and an abuse of thier knowledge.
At least that's how it was kindly explained to me on Dweeb.
I do have fun there though.

Would anyone care for sketches of spacers and retainers??? Not that they're all that difficult, but when I have apart in hand, it's difficult for me not to sketch it out-for future reference, yeah, that's the ticket!

I would...unless that's brain rape..... :flipoff2:

EDIT: Apparently filter at home doesn't like the word "rape." Hmmmm....wonder why?

What is the Mohs index on the knife used to cut that salami?
Does EE sell that knife? And the main question, is it John Lee approved?

If it can cut through warm butter, it's good enough for me. :D
